A sales tool for Indian wedding venues and banquet halls. A sales manager configures a couple's wedding live at the table (package, hall, menu choices and add-ons) while the price updates with every change, then sends a versioned GST quotation the customer accepts from their phone.

What was built

  • The configurator builds its steps from the venue's catalogue: each "choose any 3" section of the menu becomes its own step, so a different menu changes the flow without code changes.
  • A deterministic pricing engine keeps all money in integer paise and runs in the browser for instant updates and on the server for the quote: per-plate rates with hall minimums, capped weekend, season and muhurat surcharges, partner rates, and owner approval above a discount limit.
  • A what-if simulator reprices the event at another guest count or date without touching the live quote, switching halls when the chosen one no longer fits and ranking what moved the price.
  • Paper menus are read by Claude into sections, items and choice rules for a person to review; prices are never extracted. Accepting a quote creates a booking with a frozen snapshot and a double-booking check.
